Chefs Gallery Yum Cha

Huge selection of small and large dishes from a range of Asian cuisines. They also have a huge dim sum menu. I loved the pork sliders and the salmon sashimi salad (although it was a bit bit heavy on the cream fraiche). I also had the eggplant chips in honey sauce but I wouldn't recommend them as the batter was too thick and there was very little eggplant in them. Service was fast and efficient.

It's conveniently located in the MetCentre, close to Wynyard station where a lot of my friends and I work. It's basically the closest yum cha to us and when we feel like yum cha on a weekday and don't have time to go to Palace Chinese or Sky Phoenix, we come here. It's perfect because the service is quick and efficient and though the menu is not massive, the food is decent. We tend to book though we have walked in a few times. It always seems to be busy but we never had to wait long for a table.

The food here was pretty good and the service wasn't too bad.Our meals came out relatively quickly and they were also able to sit us at a table of 5 when we got there without a reservation.Food came out well presented and portion sizes weren't too bad.Would recommend this place for some good Chinese food.

Chefs Gallery is a Chinese restaurant with a series of stores in the CBD and Macquarie. They recently opened up a new yum cha chain in Wynyard and we came here for a lunch with colleagues eager to dig into their dumplings, noodles and rice dishes. To start off, we ordered their Jumbo prawn wonton dumplings. The meat in here was generous and the broth was light and went well with the dumplings.

Went there for a work lunch and i had no idea this place existed!!! Quite pricey for dumplings, i think it was 4 for 6.9 and 5 for 8.9? Something ridiculous. But the dumplings were pretty decent.. so i cant complain too much. I had the spicy dumplings it wasnt as spicy as the picture, id say mild. The staff werent too attentive and we had to constantly wave around to get someone's attention.
