Very unprofessional.. got up to the drive thru window today and noticed off the bat my drink was made wrong. Then the boy at the window said to me ?The lady behind you is paying for your drink because she said you cut her off.? First, idk why any employee would have the business to say something like that, let alone making such an offer. I declined her paying for my drink, and I will not be coming back due to the unprofessionalism.
I thoroughly enjoyed my food and drink. However, my main complaint is the wait time for service. In my opinion, the staff seemed to move at a leisurely pace instead of working more quickly to reduce customer wait times. I spent a total of 45 minutes in the Starbucks drive-thru. That said, the food was excellent; my sandwich was hot and fresh, and my pink drink was refreshing as well.
I've visited this location a few times and generally haven’t had any problems, aside from some longer wait times. However, our most recent visit was quite disappointing. We ordered two drinks (shown in the photos below) along with three others that weren't pictured. We specifically requested one drink hot and the other without whipped cream. After waiting 25 minutes while five cars were ahead of us, we reached the window only to find that they had prepared only one of the three kids' drinks we ordered. Once that was resolved, we received our first drink but it was frozen instead of iced, which has happened before—we understand that mistakes can occur. The second drink we ordered, which was supposed to be without whipped cream as indicated by the label, was also incorrect. The kids’ white hot chocolates were served scalding hot, which was surprising since the labels on the cups were all correct, yet the drinks themselves were not. To top off this frustrating experience, we were given just one straw. On a positive note, the baristas were friendly. Overall, it seems like this Starbucks location is struggling to keep up.
As a Starbucks enthusiast, I've noticed that the service can sometimes be just okay, likely due to the high volume of customers they serve. However, today’s experience at this location was truly exceptional. Their new protocols for online pickups and drive-thru service during this ongoing COVID variant are impressive. When I walked in, the barista not only asked for my name but also took the time to double-check my drink order to ensure it was perfect. I order the same drink regularly, but it tasted even better this time, thanks to her attention to detail. I also appreciate that they seem to have oat milk in stock more often lately—it's definitely my go-to milk alternative. Overall, it was such a great experience that I felt compelled to share my thoughts about a place I frequent!
