I wish I could give them 5 stars because the food is always delicious. We drive from Raleigh because we don't have good puerto rican restaurants there, however... the service is the always an issue. I used to be a server and water is something that a customer shouldn't even have to ask for, should be something that servers bring as soon as you sit the customers. We always know we are gonna have to wait for the food because it's fresh and our type of food is not something we can make in 15min, so waiting for the food is not a big deal, but the service is just bad. Basic things like being friendly w the customer, making sure they have water, check that they don't need anything while eating... is like we have to be looking for someone to do basic things. We don't know how they do the tip, if they share w other servers, but today I decided to do cash and gave it to someone who was not even our server, but was the only one making sure we had everything and asked if we were ok (lady w red hair I believe). I noticed that other ppl were also looking for servers to ask for things so I know this was not just us. Food is 5 stars, but service maybe 1 star.

The food was amazing! The mofongo was outstanding, and the alcapurrias and empanadillas were delicious! The only downside was that we had to wait quite a while for our food.

I was invited by a Boricua and tried the mofongo with salsa criolla. It was incredibly delicious and generously portioned. The waitress was attentive and very helpful.

Authentic Puerto Rican cuisine that is simply delicious! The staff is incredibly attentive and will ensure you have a great experience.

I had a wonderful dinner at Desde Mi Balcon. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service. We tried the ceviche, the Desde Mi Balcon sandwich, garlic chicken breast, sweet plantains, red beans and rice, and cube steak. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be returning soon!
