Basta! Italiensk Restaurang Falun

This restaurant is a fantastic alternative to typical Swedish pizza spots that also serve falafel. The food is flavorful and not too heavy. A combination of an appetizer and pizza is all you need to enjoy a satisfying meal here.

This restaurant serves terrible food and the service is incredibly disrespectful. They cannot cook a decent meal to save their lives. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs.

Me and my mum shared the charcuterie tray for two for a starter which was lovely and good value with cheeses, ham, grapes, marmalade etc. We both ordered the risotto with asparagus which unfortunately was a disappointment and especially as we had both been looking forward to it. They had drizzled balsamic over the whole dish, which resulted in you not feeling the taste of asparagus at all, they had also added some strawberries. I fully support the fact that balsamic vinegar and strawberries are a good combo, but none of it belongs on a risotto. The staff were nice but between the starter and the main course we felt a little forgotten. It was a nice venue with unique decor and refreshing with its strong colors that really set the restaurant apart from others today which are often quite dark and gloomy.
