Pho Cyclo - Falls Church

Yes I'm back with another pho restaurant. I have never eaten here before and I didn't expect that the food was going to be so good. I cannot eat meat so I ordered veggie pho. They asked if I wanted veggie broth before I could specify so that was a big deal for me. The food came out promptly. The biggest deal for me was the taste of the broth. Super tasty and the noodles were fluid in the soup, meaning it wasn't a block of noodle like some other places. The place was quant, and clean. Paying was easy, they brought a handheld card reader, everyone was courteous. They looked happy to serve the food which is a great vibe to feel when you're eating. Enjoy

I came in for lunch with my guy! He works not too far and thought I would like this place as I was feeling under the weather! We were the only patrons in during the early lunch time frame and we chose a table right away! We were greeted by a young d man who took our order! We both ordered the pho number 63 which was beef pho with well done brisket and beef flank. I also ordered the crispy shrimp rolls, and 2 sodas! Both sodas came in a can! The crispy shrimp rolls came out lickety split! They were very tasty and fried to perfection! My guy doesn't like rolls of this sort so these 2 were all mine! And they were delicious! No let's get to the good part...the pho...it was ok! I've had better!! The broth was slightly salty to me and the brisket was cut very thick! It took a lot of chewing to get it down and one piece was sorta like gristle. However, he enjoyed it! It was just ok! Was not the worst I've had but def not the best. Since this is not a place that is close to me, I doubt I would venture all that way to this place for a round two! So it was just ok! I more than likely won't return!

This place continues to be my top 2 favorite pho spots in the area. Delicious pho broth and am in love with the Chinese roll with Chinese sausage and the fresh beef grape leaves. Prices are extremely reasonable for amount of food you get. I cannot explain how much I love the food here! I've also gotten the bun bo hue. I asked for extra extra spicy and they certainly gave me spicy.

The grilled sampler was pretty good but the chicken was overcooked, the shrimp and beef were flavorful. The fried spring rolls weren't that crispy or tasty, prefer the traditional ones in other places with pork. My friend liked the garden rolls. Service was also a bit slow and it was hard to get the attention of the server for water and extra sauces.

Discovered this restaurant when I was in dire need of a pick me up after a long night of hitting U St. This Pho resurrected me. Service was quick, and extremely respectful. I went early in the morning and the ambiance was peaceful. The Pho truly allowed to have a better start to my day. Not picture but get the Thai tea! 10/10 spot people!
