I have always enjoyed visiting Chuck E. Cheese since I was a child. I once celebrated my birthday there, although Chuck E. wasn't in the room. Despite that, I still love the pizza there! While it may not be exactly the same atmosphere as in the 1990s and early 2000s, it still holds a magical charm for me.
I absolutely adore this restaurant and many of the staff members who work there. My friends and I have purchased a summer pass and we continue to visit every week. We have also held several birthday parties here. However, my one complaint is with Chuck E. Cheese's corporate office: they need to improve the execution of specials like the summer fun pass, as it can be a bit chaotic.
7 years old loved it and I too! Pizza is delish. Parents can have fun with children shooting hoops or playing skee ball etc. No more tickets ..everything is electronic on a map. Little staff, but the manager did a great job because he was multi-tasking... not sure if it's always that... we were there on Friday when it was opened and it wasn't busy. It was perfect! The best part for me was to get an electronic sketch of my daughter, which I could appreciate and remember the day.
We ordered 2 large one topping pizzas, some play points, and drinks. Spent $62 on cardboard pizza so my kids can play games and win some 50 cent junk toy from China that they mark up 500 percent. What we received were two medium pizzas on a large tray. Two medium oblong pizzas. I approached the manager about it who offered me two medium pizzas or another substitution. I asked for play points. He very generously gave both my kids 100 play points. I thought that was more then fair and that everything was ok. My daughter went up to order something and heard him trash talking me. So she asked him should you really be talking about your customers like that to which he promptly shut up and walked away. I was very polite to this man. I simply wanted my money 's worth. I did not cuss him or his staff, I was not a karen about it. As a former Chuck E Cheese employee I know my order was not correct. His behavior was simply childish and unprofessional. We will not be back. Sky Zone is right next door. Edison and The Edge are near by as well. Plenty of better options out there.
