Wairau River Wines - Fairhall

My favourite winery from all I have visited in the Marlborough region. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff in both the bottle shop and restaurant. The smoked salmon salad was the best meal I have had during my New Zealand holiday.

So we had my mother in-laws surprise 60th birthday at Waiau River Wines last weekend. The venue was awesome and the outdoor seating was great as it was a nice day. The food was also really good and everyone enjoyed it(the seafood chowder and chicken noodle salad were a hit). Lastly and most importantly, the staff were great and made for an awesome outing for me and my family. Would recommend Wairau River Wines to everyone

I love food and wine! This iconic restaurant is always busy and for good reason. The food is fabulous and the wine selection is great. The restaurant will close on the 16 th of December 2023 so don’t miss your opportunity to visit if you are in town before then. Very highly recommended I have recommended a few things but everything is great
