The Pizza Joint - Evans

I placed my order online 45 minutes in advance on a Saturday evening and arrived at the estimated completion time given at checkout. However, I ended up waiting an additional 45 minutes without any communication from the restaurant. I ordered four pizzas and two orders of hot wings. The wings were ready when I arrived, but I had to wait 20 more minutes for the first two pizzas to be prepared, and then another 25 minutes for the last two. By the time everything was ready, two-thirds of my order was cold. I won’t be coming back.

The service tends to be slow, and it often feels like the server forgets about you. While the pizzas are on the expensive side, they are quite delicious. During our last visit, they were out of several menu items. However, trivia night is enjoyable. Overall, it's a good restaurant, but I really hope they can improve their service.

We experienced excellent service, though it was a bit slow, and it took some time for our appetizers to arrive. Everyone enjoyed their salads, mozzarella sticks, and garlic bread. The Greek salad was especially delicious! The pizzas we ordered looked and smelled wonderful, and they were a good value for their size. Unfortunately, they lacked flavor, and I had to request extra marinara since there seemed to be very little on them. The billy club was massive and delicious! Overall, the vibe of the place was fantastic. I would return, but I wouldn't order the pizza again.

Today I could only have lunch and it was a beautiful day so we sat outside. It's always good food and a good environment. Next time you'll find me at the bar having a cold one and enjoying scenery.

I’ll start with the obvious…the food. The pizza was great as always. We usually order to go but it’s 100% better fresh so we will be stopping in more often. What really made our dinner great though was our waitress. Lauren was the sweetest, most genuine server we have ever had. She was attentive to our needs but not overbearing, she brought our two young kids some pizza dough to play with while waiting for our food and there’s so many drinks on their menu that this time I asked her to surprise me with her favorite and she did not disappoint. She gave both my husband and I drinks we enjoyed. Just sharing this so she gets the recognition she deserves!
