Izakaya Jinsei - Eugene

I have been OBSESSED with their nabeyaki udon for weeks now! It’s the perfect cold weather/ comfort food. The broth is super good!!! I always get take out so not sure how good the in restaurant service is, but I’ve had no issues with takeout.

The new mom pop owners have been here a year and a half. Authentic, high quality sashimi, generous portions, beautiful presentation, friendly and attentive service, calm dinner atmosphere. You can tell they put care and pride into their work. My favorite Japanese restaurant in Eugene-Springfield. It's a small understated gem of a spot, and a huge surprise to me to find food this good right on the edge of a college campus.

Have been here several times. Love the ex boyfriend roll. Always friendly staff. It's a smaller establishment but we are always seated quickly.

My wife and I dined in last nite and I must say this place had the worst sushi we have ever eaten, so bad I spit it out, the fish was old you could tell by looking at it. You can get better sushi at a super market deli disgusting.... Won't be coming here again anytime soon

The food was really good and the prices are not bad at all!
