Govinda's Vegetarian - Eugene

Really the only place in Eugene for a great WFPB lunch. I never regret coming here and feel great after that! Although it's called vegetarian it is actually full of vegan.

All vegan, all AMAZING, all economical! So many fantastic spices, but do not feel overloaded! The curry sauce is sooo delicious! The gluten-free breads are mysteriously wonderful! We had a little of everything and everything was so great! I definitely come back.

Don't let the name fool you... Govindas Vegetarian Buffet is all vegan... and very tasty in it. Served cafeteria style, owner David serves delicious salads with homemade vegan dressings, and a variety of Indian style dishes, the delicious steamed rice lentil cake with homemade chhutneys such as pineapples, tamarind and tomatoes. Everything at a very affordable price.

Unpretentious humble no frills they serve “buffet” that features basmati rice, coconut curry, pineapple chutney, pasta with vegan meatballs, soups, etc. Priced by your selection, humble offerings for moderate price allow you to get you vegetables in.

Very, very tasty vegan lunch for us on a driving trip through Oregon. Appreciate the fact they are 100% vegan as of 2020. Cozy atmosphere and friendly clientele and proprietor. Each of the six items we ate was delicious and healthy. We will be sure to visit again on our next trip through Eugene.
