Bao Bao House - Eugene

Beautiful Chinese food in this restaurant! There are many options for vegetarians and really they have some of the best fried rice out there. Scallion pancakes are also so delicious! Nice little business with lots of space too. We went to the Chinese New Year after a concert. It was the perfect place for a beautiful hot soup and some Bao to celebrate the new moon year of the rabbit. The soups were exceptionally hot as expected from Chinese restaurants. The shanghai steamed bao zi is very good and our noodle soup was excellent and generous in its part.

I've never tasted as good as the food here. I have no complaint at all. The servers were very friendly and attentive. I have the pig steamed dumplings and beef curry boog. The beef curry is from this world and perfectly balanced in taste and of course the pig dumplings were to die. My husband and I left so full and satisfied. I can't wait to come back. I would like to see this restaurant explodes and eventually goes into a bigger room! Very recommended and I will come back to lunch regularly!

The tofu was the perfect texture, and everything tasted really fresh and authentic. The dumplings were so juicy! Nice friendly staff too. Just what I didn't like was that the cup was plastic for the hot drink. I wish it had been glass or ceramic, would have felt more beautiful to drink.

The Bao Bao house is located in downtown Eugene. Everything has a cozy homemade vibe to it from the handwritten menus to the table placards. The food is great and everything is fresh. Of everything I tried the Baos were the best.
