Yenny's - Essendon

I found a nice little café just a few blocks from my house and decided to stop in for a banh mi. They had a variety of fried foods on display, from fried chicken to dim sims, but I chose to go with just a beef banh mi. The service was very friendly and the banh mi was good overall, with a great bread but slightly dry meat. I enjoyed it and would definitely come back again, maybe to try a different flavor next time.

This small establishment offers a variety of pre-made treats as well as burgers, speck and egg rolls, and Vietnamese rolls. I opted for the Vietnamese roll, which was delicious. At $5, my grilled chicken roll was particularly good value for money. The sauce was a bit salty, but it was balanced well with the other ingredients in the sandwich.
