Friendly service, lousy food. oily and bland and I ordered a spicy dish as a deer. I also tried the fried green chili rolls that were moist and microwaved, and the fried green chili, which were interesting as concept but bad. later, I had a huge stomach pain and threw most of it away. the owners were nice, but the food was rough.

Great Chinese place in espa. by las cruces, I love Chinese food and when I come to the north for a visit, I always make it a point to have shanghai at least once. it is great and it tastes good. Sweet and acidic pork or hawn is my favorite or cantanesenudeln. (they are very dry but tasteful)

Only me, so I ordered the happy family. easy sose, good steamed rice, maybe too much pork. good chicken and bark with a crushed garnel and skalopp. Crisp-Veggies. for this part of new mexico: fabulous! inclusive suppe was a dripping which was very pleasant.

I love shanghai, the buffet is delicious especially the fried mushrooms!

Española's best Chinese.... 3 Stars Shanghai is located in the middle of Española's strip (a.k.a. Riverside Drive). It is in a non descript little strip mall that is very easy to miss driving northbound. We came for dinner on a Saturday night. My wife and I went out for a date night without the kids. Being new to the Española Valley, we are slowly trying all the restaurants in town. This time we tried Shanghai. The dining room is in an odd location in the middle of the building. In the middle of the dining room is a buffet table, which was not in use on the Saturday night we visited.
