MEKONG Vietnam Restaurant - Erlangen

The place is a little small but manages to take care of a decent size of guests. However, we were not so impressed with the food. We ordered the Mittag Essen which had a selection of 10-15 dishes.The Chicken with soya was good, but the traditional red coconut curry chicken sweet, which is just how it shouldn't be!The service was fast and the pricing was reasonable.

While the service was not the greatest, the calm atmosphere and the Asian music in the background make up for everything. The food quality, taste, and portions are really good, can't complain. I ordered the a vegetarian tofu plate that came with rice. The presentation of the food was excellent!

This is a great little Vietnamese restaurant. Small interior nicely decorated. Menus are available in English if your German is limited (like mine).Excellent choice of dishes catering for a range of preferences. The duck dishes are highly recommended.Portion sizes are generous and dishes are well presented and served promptly. Suitable for families with children. Booking in advance is advisable. Pricing is extremely reasonable given the quality of the food. Staff are friendly and courteous. Definitely recommended.

We went there with friends and we had a reservation. The woman managing and serving the tables was extremely rude. This was my second time there and both times it happened to su exactly the same: very bad treatment. Food is good and place is nice but I'll never come back because they don't know how to treat their customers.

We stuck to the classics - goi cuon, spring rolls and pho no, but they were all tasty and fresh. The beef was very tender, and the soup good. They even had beer 333 which I thought was great.
