Laurie Dee's Hamburgers Frozen Custard

Due to the COVID-19 situation, we were unable to experience their quick and streamlined service for ordering and picking up food firsthand. They do have a drink station where you can refill your soft drinks at any time, but this service is currently on hold as a precaution. You can really see the dedication the staff has when making the burgers from scratch, and everything is served hot and fresh. We ordered Laurie Dee's Burger, the Chilli Cheese Burger, and some Chilli Cheese Fries as a side. Every bite of the burgers was exceptional. The beef patty was juicy with a lovely char on the edges. It was delightful to experience the juices of the meat as I bit into those crispy edges. The Special D sauce was flavorful and helped cut through the richness of the beef—a simple burger done right. The Chilli Cheese Burger was equally good but came with an added kick of chili. My friend mentioned that it is typically spicier, which may have enhanced our enjoyment. The Chilli Cheese Fries were a hit as well. They stayed crispy even under the generous amount of cheese. The red onions added a refreshing touch. However, there wasn't much chili beef to be found. I could hardly taste the meaty flavor against the fries and felt that the chili sauce could have used a bit more depth. Still, it was enjoyable and would have been even better with more chili beef. We wrapped up our meal with something truly special: the Snickers Sundae. Despite its small size, it is very filling and well worth the money. The gooey caramel oozing from the pieces of Snickers was delightful, and every scoop brought a variety of textures—from the creaminess of the ice cream to the nutty chocolate coating and the thick, gooey caramel. Great burgers and killer sides! The smashed patties and chilli cheese fries were delicious! Heaps of topping choices for frozen custard concrete mixers! Really friendly staff and quick service. Very enjoyable experience!

A diner style restaurant with a generous amount of seats and food to offer.<br/ <br/ Cheese fries the best seasoning I've had. Crisp chips with the most flavorful chicken salt and herbs and topped with the thickest cheese.<br/ <br/ Laurie dees burger very crisp buns complimented with the freshest lettuce, juiciest tomato and sweetest onion. The softness of this burger is great.<br/ <br/ Again extremely juicy and a tangy hit for the relish. The hotdogs bun is so packed with filling to the point the buns struggle to hold the toppings.

I've visited this restaurant several times, and the food is delicious! The fries are absolutely amazing. It’s too bad it's outside my 5K range, otherwise I would love to stop by for a quick bite.
