Had dinner recently, the food is generally authentic in taste and presentation. We had Thai prawn salad, curry chicken and soft shelled crab.On another night whole grilled fish and green papaya salad. The wine is over priced for what it is eg, Lindermans bin 66 Chardonnay sold there for $24, you can by it for $10 at most wine shops. bring your own and pay the byo .Good service, friendly .
I absolutely love this restaurant not only for the yummiest green or red chicken curries but for the friendly welcoming service we receive each time we attend. The meals are lovely full of flavourStaff are very hospitable and always give my young son a free juice to drink while awaiting for our take away order
I have been here a few times and the food is always great. The coconut rice always keeps me coming back! The banquet is worth doing if you have a larger group and pandan crepe is delicious for dessert! Yum!
For entrees we ordered the spring rolls and curry puffs. The spring rolls were so salty that we took a few bites and left them alone. The curry puffs ( there were 4 of them) were no bigger than a 50 cent coin. I didn't know that they made them that small and for $8, I expected something a bit more than what was offered. For mains, my wife had the papaya salad and I ordered the Pad Pak stir fry and steamed rice.Upon taking one mouthful of mine, I spat it back out into the napkin. There was so much salt that it was inedible for a normal human being.I put the plate aside at the edge of the table. For the next 10 minutes, all three waiters/waitresses walked past the table, saw my plate on the edge numerous times and not once did any of them ask me if there was a problem. After waiting for 10 minutes I called one of them over and asked him to go give the plate to the chef and come back and tell me what they thought. After a few minutes, he came back and told me that the chef did state it was salty, but to eat it with rice and it wouldn't be too bad. Are you kidding me? I did try it with rice and if was inedible.I asked for the bill, paid all but my meal and went home hungry. My wife also left her papaya salad half finished as that too was very salty.Never again will I step into this restuarant. For the high prices they charge for what yiu get, there are plenty of cheaper Thai restuarants around who offer much much better meals and service.
