Despite the mediocre fries, Au 3500 stands out as the best restaurant in Entrelacs, especially compared to its struggling competitors. The quality of the home-cooked meals rivals those of nearby restaurants in Chertsey and Sainte-Marguerite. The pizzas and subs are particularly exceptional, and the restaurant also offers frozen fruit and meat pies, sauces, and desserts. Au 3500 is an easily missed restaurant well worth seeking out and where your money will be well spent. First let's point out the negative aspects of the place. First, the hours of business are not always convenient. He caters mostly to the quad/snowmobile trail and his schedule is based on those activities. It varies by season so you're better off calling before showing up. Second, it's cash only. Third, the fries leave something to be desired. For some reason the fries are the only thing that is not home-made at this restaurant and they can easily ruin whatever you have them with.However, this restaurant is the best restaurant in Entrelacs. Granted, in 2015 there were four restaurants in Entrelacs and as of 2016 three of them are facing bankruptcy and/or are for sell. Meaning that Au 3500 is now the only successful restaurant in Entrelacs. But the quality of all his home-cooked food could be put up against any neighboring restaurants in Chertsey or Sainte-Marguerite. His pizzas and subs are some of the best I've ever had. He also sells frozen fruit and meat pies, sauces and deserts.If the hours of the restaurant were more flexible, we would be there more often, but as it is we find ourselves adjusting our schedule just to be able to enjoy this amazing food.
