The Plough Enfield

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was excellent and the service was great. We enjoyed our late lunch in the gardens, which provided a lovely atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to others!

The prawn sandwich was served on lovely brown bread, accompanied by crispy fries and a salad, which I enjoyed with a coffee. My friend had the fish and chips, which they really liked. The service was excellent; we were served quickly despite the restaurant being busy. Parking was easy as well. I would definitely recommend this place. Our total bill was £20 for two.

The restaurant was adorned with numerous paintings, and I was never disappointed. While it has the usual pub atmosphere and a standard menu, the burger is truly exceptional. It's a great place for children and also dog-friendly, which is a nice bonus. Additionally, it's very convenient for mountain biking crews.

When we arrived we were taken to a nice window table. However, as it was very close to other tables and we had various health issues, we were nervous about sitting so close to others due to Covid. We were moved without any problems to a table which had a bit more space around it. The food and service were excellent. There was a slight mix up with my dessert order which was partly my fault, but it was soon rectified. We have been to the Plough many times and it has always been good.

The Plough yet again proved what a great eating experience it is for any occasion! This time Mothers Day! Food fantastic and staff were 110%! It was a lovely place to celebrate Mother's Day as our five son's and one daughter will tell you,they have the best mum in the world and the Plough is the best for food,drink and excellent staff! Well done The Plough!!
