Impact Plants - EMPIRE BAY

We absolutely adore this place. We have visited for breakfast or lunch multiple times over the past year. The service is exceptional, the portion sizes are generous, and the food is top-notch. However, the real highlight is the ambiance - dining here feels like being in the heart of a lush rainforest!

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. The setting is gorgeous, surrounded by lush green gardens. The coffee was fantastic, but the food left something to be desired. We tried the waffle stack and the eggs Benedict with salmon. The waffles were plain and the accompanying jam/sauce was overly sweet. The eggs Benedict had an excessive amount of mayonnaise-like Hollandaise sauce. I would return for the beautiful location, but I hope to find better dishes on the menu next time.

I always enjoy the food from either the breakfast or lunch menu at this restaurant. The prices are reasonable, maybe a bit on the expensive side, but the food is tasty and you get a decent portion size. It was a bit cold during my visit, so outdoor heaters in the winter might be a good addition. The service is friendly and the surrounding nursery make this place unique to the coast. There are plenty of outdoor seating options, with a few tables inside as well. Overall, I really like this restaurant and have been multiple times. My family also enjoys coming here.

What a lovely place to have brekkie. Surrounded by gorgeous plants and trees. Food was well presented and delicious. And best of all...Ted the cafe dog came for a cuddle :

Beautiful cafe nestled in amongst the plants, Impact plants cafe is well worth a visit. Enjoyed Smashed Avocado and bacon eggs. Delicious coffee. Lost one star because the bacon was overcooked and the eggs slightly undercooked. Of course, this cafe isn't alone in doing this. As a practice, we need to do better.
