Liberty Club - Ely

The bartender, Dirk, is awesome. Very friendly and great to talk to, and will help you find a drink if you're unsure what to order. Good variety of seating options. The bar has shuffleboard and a pool table, which is great. Also a fun jukebox and dart board. The crowd can be a little rough some nights and their music choice can be less than stellar. But a more interesting and intimate bar than you find in the casinos.

The bartender was fantastic, the drinks were affordable, and the conversation was wonderful.

I visited the restaurant on a Saturday night and it was empty, but the bartender, Dirk, was very friendly. We had the shuffleboard table all to ourselves, which was a lot of fun. If you enjoy shuffleboard, you may find the table a bit old-fashioned, but it's still good for a casual game. The bar has a vintage feel with pictures from the 1950s of patrons at the Liberty Club on the walls. There's also a TouchTunes machine, but I didn't use it because I wasn't sure if my ska music would be appreciated. I'm giving it three stars because I didn't fully experience it, but I might change my rating after more visits. It's a bit of a gamble.

This is a fantastic dive bar. We spent the entire night playing shuffleboard with some local miners. It can get pretty noisy on a Saturday night, but that's just part of the charm of this place. The atmosphere was great, and everyone was friendly. The bartender was especially nice and we never had to wait long for our drinks, even when it got crowded. I would definitely recommend stopping by and grabbing a few drinks if you have the opportunity to visit.

A good dive bar in Ely. Stopped here for a few beers while passing through town. Close to hotels so it works. Wusses might be intimidated by the crowd. It's a rough bunch didn't have any problems though, bartender was nice.
