Yang's Kitchen - Eltham

Given how often I end up here and given the ongoing consistency of both freshness and service I think it warrants an update to 5 stars! Yet to be disappointed.

Yangs Kitchen is a really nice restaurant although doesn't look very flashy. Its quite small and hardly has anyone sit in as its known as a take away shop. Dumplings are fresh and made on site every day. We also had home made dim sims - yum, rainbow beef (not sure what's in that but it delicious), salt & pepper chicken (just like calamari-only better). The special fried rice is a little boring but still quite tasty. Helen (owner) is very pleasant, obliging and very quick. As it was originally only a take away, there are always people walking in and out which could be a little off putting. If you're happy to put up with that, eat in, otherwise just get takeaway.

The most amazing Chinese and the only Chinese place I go to. It's always fresh and delicious. Beautiful owners too. Very easy going and let you customise certain meals to your liking (within reason of course).<br/ <br/ I'm not too sure how the other reviews about this place are bad.... maybe they accidentally reviewed the wrong place...?

We have visited Yang's Restaurant a few times. During our first visit, we were pleasantly surprised by their unique and delicious dishes. We tried something new that we weren't familiar with and enjoyed it, as well as their creative take on some of our favorite dishes. The service was relaxed and the atmosphere was comfortable. We highly recommend paying Yang's a visit!

We arrived at the restaurant without a reservation and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and friendly, accommodating service. It was an outstanding dining experience and we highly recommend it.
