Cafe Eden - Eltham

Nice coffee bit slow service if there is allot of people around. Good to sit with the animals and nice bush land

Cafe Eden is a food van set up in the grounds of Edendale Farm at Eltham. I have been there regularly since tasting their cheese and ham toasties, best ever! The coffee is great and there are homemade cakes and homemade drinks, all delicious. A delightful venue to sit and relax under sun umbrellas and take in the atmosphere of the farm. The owners of Cafe Eden are hardworking and very friendly and it is a pleasure to stop by for a delicious lunch or afternoon tea. A gem in local suburbia.

Cafe Eden is part of Edendale Community Environment Farm in Eltham, run by the local shire. A great place for kids on a sunny day. The cafe provides take away service where you can eat your hot or cold snack at seating provided by the Farm. A very pleasant environment in which to relax and have a coffee.At lunch time on sunny weekend days the Cafe gets overloaded with orders and service can be VERY SLOW during busy periods.

Four of us plus a toddler visited on Sunday for Brunch. Service was good, food was great, price was good, surroundings were excellent. Coffee was good.

This place is an oasis at the end of the road. El fresco, seasonal and fresh food and drinks because it's on a farm. Friendly and easy-going staff, animals to feed (sheep, horses, goats, cows, guinea pigs), grass for kids, a homestead to look at and ecological education (live tortoises, native fish, stick insects, frogs on display) plus a nursery to boot. I cycle there from the city and indulge once I'm there with home-made cordials, cakes, toasted sandwiches, muffins, burger, etc. nearby is the creek and an adventure playground. You may have to wait and they close early but it's worth it.
