Mizu Sushi Asian Fusion - Elmwood

We dined at this restaurant for the first time based on a neighbor's recommendation. We were not deterred by the nearby Walmart, Rally's, and GameStop, and we were pleased with our experience. Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was excellent. We enjoyed the miso soup, beef tataki, harumaki, cold noodle salad, and a variety of sushi rolls. The cold noodle salad was particularly standout, and the beef tataki was also superb. Of the sushi rolls, I highly recommend the Alien and Emerald rolls. Both were full of fresh fish and each piece was light enough to eat in one bite. My children shared the Boston roll and devoured it within minutes. I highly recommend trying it for yourself - it's now my favorite sushi spot.

We've been looking for a new sushi place, since sake don't have closed on jefferson hwy. low and look back from thrifting we find a new sushi restaurant just a mile or so on the road of sd. we decided to shoot it and it has not disappointed. everything was excellent. the service, the food, the environment. and the wonderful selection of Sake wines. You'll be glad you did it.

I absolutely adore this restaurant - the food is incredibly fresh and tastes amazing. Ever since my favorite spot, Sake Don, closed in 2020, I've been searching for a replacement. This place is the closest I've found, with options like veggie rolls and sesame chicken bites that remind me of the chicken katsu roll I used to love. They are also very accommodating, allowing me to make changes to my order without any extra charges. The alien roll and BBQ roll were both delicious, and on my last visit, I tried the tempura which was a great choice. The gyozas were also perfect. Overall, I have nothing negative to say about this place - it's reasonably priced, clean, offers fresh and tasty food, and has friendly service. They even didn't bat an eye when I ordered chicken with my sushi!

I have to say, this restaurant is really great! I have visited three times since it opened and I am very impressed. The staff is friendly, polite, and efficient. The atmosphere is lovely and unexpected for the Elmwood area. It's truly a hidden gem! The sushi rolls are delicious and fresh, and the lunch specials are a good deal. It's also nice that the staff remembers you and provides excellent service. By the way, don't forget to try the miso soup - it's delicious!
