I'm impressed. Ordered take out. Vegetables are not out of a can. It was great. $7.63 for 3 vegetables and 1 meat and cornbread. Surprised at the price for the amount of food. Tea and dessert are extra.

We stopped in today for a late lunch after visiting Phenix city. Everything about this place was wonderful. The workers the food even the people sitting around us. We had the best experience here today. We got to meet the owner and he was so pleasant making sure that everything was perfect. We had the snakebites which were out of this world and then the MOP chicken. After talking with the owner and just having a wonderful conversation he surprised us with some spicy cream cheese fried shrimp. It was so good! I have been here before but it was my husband?s first time going and he just absolutely loved it. We look forward to going back and having the sirloin dinner for two.

Our first time and we weren't disappointed. Absolutely delicious! Anniversary dinner 17years. We will be back one soon.

Update: a waitress reached out to me and apologized for my experience. She was incredibly heartfelt and she convinced me to give the restaurant another try, thanks Mindy. We will be trying to go again soon. My party stood inside at the front for about 20 minutes, plenty of workers passed us but no one even acknowledged us. Really sad cause I had heard nothing but great things about this restaurant. We ended up just leaving, honestly not sure if we'll even try to come back ever again.
