Terribly disappointed took my nephew in to see how cool this gas station was supposed to be and nothing was stocked , trash was in the ice box . The yogurt machines were all empty and we left empty handed. They did have jelly beans on the wall for decoration they didn’t need to be stocked so they were of course full.
This place does not have enough advertisement!!! Let me just say their biscuits are HANDS DOWN the best I have ever had. Moist, soft and DELICIOUS!!! Their jambalaya is also delicious!! Lots of flavor! You must try it to believe it!!! An actual amazing fried chicken spot at a gas station.
Always clean and well maintained, unlike your typical gas station. Always open and a great selection of items. Employees know what they are doing and are polite and courteous.
During my last two visits, when I tried to get a large fountain drink, I noticed that the soda was dispensing irregularly. Having over nine years of experience in food service, I recognized that the nozzle needed to be cleaned. While I didn't see this as an unusual situation—it's a routine task that can easily be overlooked—my concerns only grew when I removed the nozzle for cleaning and found it was full of mold. I informed the person at the counter that the rest of the nozzles needed attention, but it was clear during my next visit that nothing had been done. I cleaned the nozzle myself and attempted to get another drink, but I still encountered a lot of black debris from the machine. This debris was likely from the loose nozzle I had just cleaned, which shouldn't have been present if proper cleaning had occurred. Cleaning these nozzles typically takes about five minutes, and the failure to do so raises concerns that other areas of sanitation may also be lacking. My experience in various food service settings has taught me that what goes on behind the counter—out of customers' sight—can often be worse. Due to the sanitation issues and the risk of illness, I won’t be returning anytime soon. I've attached photos of the nozzle, which clearly hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. I wiped it with a napkin to demonstrate what might end up in customers' drinks. If you decide to stop by, I recommend sticking to prepackaged food and drinks.
