A little different from the Hermosa taproom, this place has a more limited food menu but expanded beverage menu now including several cocktails. Away from the Hermosa crowds in a commercial nook of El Segundo, the outdoor space is set up for safe, well distanced dining. We were briefly screened for safety purposes and seated immediately at a table outfitted with fresh menus and hand sanitizer. Our host adjusted the umbrella for us. I’m never disappointed by HBC staff: humbly knowledgeable and warmly welcoming every time. We had a prosciutto and brie panini and short rib ragout predictably excellent work from Chef Aaron. The beer selection is nearly the same as Hermosa location; I had the daiquiri which was such a perfect balance if rum, lime and sugar. We were given complimentary hand sanitizer to go and really had an enjoyable meal, but I’m just not surprised: they really know how to make you feel like family.
The cocktails are amazing. The liquor is distilled in the same location by R6 distillery. They recently added some amazing food items. My favorite is the Proscuitto and Brie Panini.
They have a variety of spirits. I tried a tasting menu and it was a phenomenon. Her interior was very unique. They also offer some food. You can also stop at this place to buy some ghosts. I'll go back to buy some ghosts.
