So, we decided to stroll across the street to explore other dining options and settled on Nomad Eatery. Everything we ordered was excellent, and nothing disappointed our taste buds. We’ll definitely be returning!
I can't praise NOMAD eatery enough! Our server Elisha was fantastic and took excellent care of us. The Crispy Chile Relleno was a standout, and the mussels in the delicious coconut garlic sauce were a true delight. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the Lebanese chicken was beautifully cooked—moist and flavorful. To top it all off, the chocolate soufflé melted in your mouth with every bite, and the coconut rice pudding was also quite enjoyable. I can't wait to return and explore more items on their menu; this place definitely left me wanting more!
So far, we’ve tried the sweet and sour pineapple pork, kebabs, scallop ceviche, kale salad, branzino, bolognese, and steak frites, and nothing has disappointed us. We’ve loved the generous portions, distinct flavors, and uniqueness of each dish. The $15 corkage fee has been a game-changer for us, allowing us to bring a nice bottle of wine to enhance our experience. Their cocktails are also delightful, with a solid selection available at the bar. Alice has been our waitress on both visits, and she has been fantastic each time. The owner, Scott, promotes a welcoming "come as you are" atmosphere, making it perfect for a date night, birthday celebration, catching up with friends, or a family outing. They’re also in the process of expanding their patio space, which sounds like it will be amazing once completed. For now, I highly recommend checking it out and supporting this small business—you won’t regret it!
Nomad has one of my favorite Happy Hour menus that I've found in the El Segundo area to date. You can get a couple glasses of wine and an appetizer for less than $20 (not including tip) and the wine and apps are delicious! There's a parking structure right next to Nomad so parking is really easy to find. It's also got a great space for larger parties.
Amazing spot. Very friendly. Delicious flavors. We found this restaurant waiting for traffic to die down. They have a nice happy hour menu. Plenty of tasty meal options, and an extensive drink menu. We got the house made lemonade, HH Margarita, HH Chicken and Veg Skewer, and the Wok Fried Seared Shrimp. All were great. Loved the shrimp, and lemonade! Our server Hayli was warm, kind, knowledgable, attentive, and sweet! Highly recommend this spot. Cool outdoor-ish space, dog friendly, and plenty of parking!
