Timmy'z Central - El Paso

So I'm not one that usually goes out of my way to write reviews, but I felt like this time. This place is 10/10. From service to prices everything was top notch. Amanda, the pretty young lady behind the bar, was kind and attentive to having a drink at any time. Also the selection of beer was good. I'm definitely back!

Nice place for a dive bar with no food. Would have gave more stars if the staff was more personal. Place was completely dead with myself at one point and the bar tender (Amanda) choose to stare at her phone instead of ensuring there only patron was well taken care of. Granted it was a Tuesday night, but hospitality earns buisness and tips. I will return if I'm just lookn for a quick drink and not to hang out for an extended time. More options/hospitality equals more buisness. (Note to owner) Only beer on tap is bud light?!?! Minimumly clothed girls will only take you so far to.....JS. Many other options like tilted kilt offers much more. Suggest to step up the buisness model. Over all its not too bad for a first experience, but room to improve.

Went after work for a few drinks. Sat down. Bartender saw us, but didn't even come up to take our order. Used to love it here. Left at went to the District. Should have just gone there in the first place.

Plus, sat down and bartender was pretty attentive for the order. Minuses, bartender made the experience entirely transactional and lacked hospitality; the beer was about the temp as if you bought a 12 pack at 7/11 took a 15 minute drive home on 80 degree day then popped open a beer: upon denoting this the bartender informed me all the beers are that warm (I was offered a nice cup of ice for the beverage, MmmmmMm beer on ice, my favorite); throughout the experience the bartender kept mentioning the $3 amount owed as I grappled with the decision to even stay. I paid the tab, chilled with my homie and did not partake in the hot beverage; meanwhile, bartender stayed majority of the time on her phone. Last pluses, seems like if you are a regular you will get treated fairly well and there is a good amount of lady patrons that attend the venue when compared to many other bars with a similar business model that hires bartenders based primarily on looks and takes little into account of other abilities, such as hospitality.

Environment good to hang out with friends for awhile. However, some servers, like Geo, not too sociable. Rest of staff appear responsive to customers.
