First Chinese restaurant stop I made here in El Paso today. I ordered the egg drop soup, which was delicious, and the sesame chicken which I enjoyed as well. The plate was very well served, I only made it half way through it and had to take the rest to-go. I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and could smell the scrumptiousness before walking through the front door. I will definitely be back to try other plates soon. Update: I love their General TSO Chicken
A great, no frills, Chinese restaurant! There is nothing special about the appearance of this eatery, but it is special in great service and delicious food! I visited during lunch, they have a nice lunch specials menu. The restaurant was busy at 12:30, but the service was able to keep up! We were offered menus and drink orders within a few minutes. I ordered the General Tso’s chicken, an egg roll, and a bowl of hot sour soup. The soup was served promptly, along with some fried noodles. Very delish! The food came along soon and I had the best General Tso’s chicken I’ve had so far. Nice sized portions! Crispy coating on tender chicken and a mildly spicy sauce. There was a bottle of sriracha on every table, if you needed the boost. I elected to up grate from rice to chow mein, totally worth the extra buck and a quarter! The only mild disappointment was the egg roll. It wasn’t bad, just wasn’t at the quality of the other lunch components. The server was attentive and checked back to our table a few times, we were very comfortable! The bill was $32 for four of us. If you want a delicious Chinese dinner, without breaking the bank, this place is for you.
Don't let the exterior appearance fool you. Food tasted great and fresh even near closing time. Egg rolls were fantastic! I had the Mixed Fried Rice House Special
