Mr. Wade the the other young man provided excellent costumer service. They where clean, respectful, prompt and friendly. The food was top notch and definitely appreciate having the choice in southern cuisine a culture rich city such as El Paso Texas. We look forward to many more visits and joyful experiences rather we take out or dine in. Keep up the awesome job and service. Peace and blessings
The food was good old fashioned southern home cooking. We had the pork chop with gravy (nice and tender) and fried catfish (crispy) with cornbread dressing (tasted like Thanksgiving), cole slaw and cornbread. The service was good and the owner is a nice friendly gentle man. We can't wait to go back for fried chicken and oxtail and rice. It is a cozy quiet place with soft modern jazz in the background.
I recently posted a Google review about my experience at a restaurant. After realizing that I hadn't given the owner a chance to address any potential misunderstandings, I decided to give her a call. However, our conversation only made it clear why the quality of the restaurant was lacking. The owner was confrontational and condescending. I provided an honest critique of the food and prices, to which she responded by suggesting I find a restaurant more within my budget. This was insulting as I had already spent money at her establishment, proving that affordability was not the issue. It's possible to both afford something and find it overpriced. It's clear that this business owner does not understand that customer opinions can greatly impact their income. It's important to strive for better customer service, especially when prices are on the rise. If a business is dismissive of feedback and unwilling to make improvements, they do not deserve any customer's money.
