Mañanas Mexican Food - El Cajon

This is my favorite local taco spot. The portions are generous, and the food is consistently hot and fresh. I really appreciate the hot sauce bar, as it allows me to customize my meal instead of just receiving a packet of sauce. I think my go-to dish is the supreme fries with carne asada.

Great place! It’s clean, quiet, and the staff is really pleasant. They played soft jazz music, which added to the lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious, especially the cheese soup! I enjoyed my experience greatly. I will definitely return!

The food at this restaurant is enjoyable, but the prices don't match what’s listed on the paper menu at the counter or the wall menu! The Chimichanga was large and flavorful, but it had very little beef in it, and it cost almost $12.

First time there, they were nice, food was hot and tasted great, they got my order out fast. I recommend it, to anyone that Love great Mexican food.
