Galileo's Italian Food At Liberty Square

I have been coming up to Door County for many years and I expect prices to be inflated here but I think Galileo’s is still over the top in their pricing. I ordered the Pasta Verde with shrimp. With the sun dried tomatoes. pine nuts and Parmesan the dish had great flavor, but was so swimming in oil that it left a small pond at the bottom of the plate. The shrimp was fresh but under cooked; the dinner salad was chopped lettuce with an over abundance of Bermuda onion slices and a pretty uninteresting Italian dressing. Thankfully the Argentinian Malbec was reasonabley priced at $7/ glass and saved the meal from being a bigger disappointment. Maybe their pizza is more worthy. I may give it a try...

Omg, the chicken picata is fabulous! My favorite place to eat every year on our Door County trip. Cathy z our waitress was wonderful. She recommended the chicken picata.

Our waitress Cathy was very nice and helpful. The food was really good, but perhaps a little over priced. The ambiance was good. We would definitely return for another meal. Thanks Cathy!

My friend told me that her food got burnt there and that one of her family members had to do something. I can't believe i heard that from such a place.

The quality of the food was excellent, and I appreciated that the menu included unique options not commonly found elsewhere. The service was satisfactory, and I was very pleased with the taste of the dishes. The wine selection was impressive as well. I definitely plan to return!
