I want to highlight their outstanding customer experience, which is entirely contactless. You place your order online and complete your payment before leaving. We visited on a busy weekend, but surprisingly, the wait time was minimal. The food was excellent, especially the Sambar. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for vegetarian Indian cuisine.

If you find yourself in Edison, whether it's because a particularly enthusiastic friend insisted on it or you've browsed through the glowing Google reviews, you're likely to end up at this restaurant. As an impartial critic, I genuinely believe the place lives up to its acclaim. The food is exceptional, the portion sizes are just right, and the quality of the dishes is top-notch. While they do charge a bit more than I would expect, it’s hard to complain when you get to enjoy genuinely authentic South Indian cuisine right at your doorstep.

I feel that the quality has significantly declined at this restaurant, particularly regarding the chutneys and sambars. None of the chutneys or sambars were edible due to the excessive amount of salt in them. Even the idlis were drenched in sambhar, making them quite bitter. Just a quick note: not everyone who orders from here enjoys salty food. To sum it up, it might be time to rename Saravana Bhavan to Salty Bhavan.

We have come to this place from recent years, and the food and service was excellent, today after a long time we decided to bring some friends for good food, and what a disaster, you have the most attentive staff, the food was absolutely a disaster, how can Samber be cold? We all ordered food with Samber and it was room temperature, Medhu vada was full of oil? You no longer take the orders from you, you need to use the phone, after the order they bring the food in intervals, and no one ever came to check if everything is okay? and they automatically add bliss?

Food was good and service was very fast. Every thing you have to order from your phone. Only thing that disappointed me was they were charging for water. Only bottled water was available for 50 cents each. Nice ambiance and has good amount of parking in front of restaurant.
