Unreal food and service, made my birthday extra special

The food was very good. Definitely worth going back. The biggest disappointment was the lack of available steak cuts at 7:30 on a Friday. Over half of the “board” was crossed off. If you are getting excited to get a T Bone or Porterhouse, just be aware it might not be available.

Great food and fast service Very comfortable seating

It was my first night in Edinburgh with my family, we were celebrating my parents 37th anniversary. We had a wonderful evening with good food and service. Very well deserved to our server Sarah we went out of her way to make my parents feel celebrated, it truly was her attention to detail that made our night! Would recommend this resto to anyone visiting!

The optics and reputation was not our reality. On a positive note our server Max was very nice and good they chocolate tart was great the mushrooms were great. on a constructive critical note the steaks were supposed to be woodfired with crust on them they look like they came out of a skillet and had no crust really no great taste and we had three ribeyes and they all had gristle that we had to chew up and spit out The creamed spinach was chopped so fine it barely cream spinach. Bill was almost $500 US for four people there’s got to be lots better bargains for lots better food in Edinburgh. Disappointing
