I've been here for almost ten years and I love the place, both for taking and for a restaurant dinner. they made a lunch buffet every day, even though this was still worth the price on Friday. decor is lightly dated, but beautiful and cozy and I tend to a bit retro so five stars of me

I was a couple of times in china palace for the lunch deal and thought that eating was ok, but recently tried the a la carte menu in the night and its fantastic. there is a great choice, the seafood is above all very good quality and the prices are very reasonable. the wine list is also very good. I also ordered a takeaway that was almost as good as a sitting and had many offers like free dine / beer when ordering over a certain amount. the personal was always very nice and the service is efficient! a great sound!

During our recent visit to Edinburgh, we decided to dine at this restaurant and were very impressed by the food and service. Opting for the banquet menu, we also enjoyed a bottle of wine which complemented the delicious courses perfectly. The waiter was friendly and attentive, making our experience even more enjoyable. This exceptional restaurant certainly deserves more praise and we will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend!

Excellent food too great. Friendly and attentive service. Well-distributed tables for COVID-19 rules and hand hygiene plus temperature testing during entry soothing. However, toilet facilities could do with an upgrade.
