Chiquito Fort Kinnaird - Edinburgh

I went to this restaurant for a meal on my birthday. I didn't mention it was my birthday because I just wanted to enjoy some good food. I always find Chiquitos at Fort Kinnaird to be reliable. My partner secretly told the manager, Kris, that it was my birthday, and they kindly gave us a free dessert. Kris was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely return because the food is always fantastic.

The food at this restaurant was delicious, but unfortunately, the service was disappointing. When asked to pay the bill, the server claimed she was going to retrieve the card machine but was actually on her phone. When confronted about this behavior, she had a bad attitude.

I'm sure this place has potential, but today it did not. We were one of the first people in and somehow were forgotten about. Had our order taken, but waited 45 minutes. Those who came in after us were served and finished while the waiter just walked past us like nothing. Then had the audacity to try and charge us £46.98 for two drinks and three miniature tacos. Nah.

My friend and myself were going to Frankie and bennys for breakfast , it said on the door that they opened at 9 , this was on Thursday! Frankie and benny staff informed us that they were only opening at 10we went to chiquitos instead I am so gad we did the breakfast and service was amazing , was back this morning again ! Highly recommend this restaurant , this will be my breakfast choice from now on
