Hokkaido Ramen Santouka - Edgewater

Waiting is usually 15 to 20 minutes, and it's hard to find a seat at the food court, but it is worth waiting. I usually get miso ramen medium size. Can't compare with any ramen places nearby.Food: 5/5

I sometimes take-out the ramen, but I recommend to eat there instead. The food tastes different when you eat from the take-out bowl. Also, the line is long when you go there during weekends.

This place continues to be on top, I have tried countless of ramen restaurants and this is my absolute favorite. Located in the Mitsuwa supermarket, the trip is worthwhile considering all the goodies this market has to offer. It's self serve and the ambience is not fancy or anything. I have ordered delivery and they package your ramen perfectly, always warm. You can find me here during Fall and Winter, it's a must. No one can beat the delicious miso ramen, the salt and spicy are good too. The combos with rice included are a kicker, if you're coming with a hungry appetite.

This particular spot gets PACKED with a very long line if you don’t come in right as they open shop, but there’s a good reason for it- the ramen here is better than any cheap instant ramen you can grab at home. The price is good, the food is good, and if it’s your first time ordering, you don’t have to worry about having enough time to figure out what you want to order- the Shoyu Ramen is so good, I go here every time I’m in Edgewater. Just make sure you take friends along to secure a seat for you all when you go to sit down!
