Coffee was pretty good, service is ok.<br/ Pastry is very nice, even better than red mango, which is also very nice..<br/ Other colleague was not happy with the price saying a few years ago it was pretty much half price.<br/
An exceptional dining experience. I have been coming to this restaurant on and off for years. The sausage rolls and pies are incredible, of high quality, and far superior to those from Four and Twenty. The menu is divided into four sections: hot food, pastries (including croissants and sourdough rolls), bread, and a display of desserts. The macarons are larger than those at other places and you can get four for $10. They also have a new chocolate fondant that is worth trying. The service is efficient, with a mix of staff from different countries, leading to some inconsistencies as mentioned by others.
Great breads and range of treats. What we had was tasty and light, especially the pastry. Coffee was not strong enough for me as a long black drinking but I guess you have to balance it against the sweetness of the sweet treat and cater to the local mums.
I have visited this restaurant almost daily to enjoy their sourdough bread rolls. The quality ranges from decent to slightly burnt at times. I would recommend sticking to the sourdough items and the hot food, as they are probably the best options available.
Come here for my daily caffeine fix. Cheese stick was delish. Service is great.
