Stoneybeck Inn - Eden

A wonderful surprise for 2 extras. the personal could not be more helpful or friendly and was happy to help with any question. to the point where we needed a little more milk for a third cup of coffee in our room, the employee insisted that they bring it up into our room, even if we moved up there. they can wait for their meals as they are cooked in the house and freshly prepared and order so that a little longer to serve. sit back, relax and enjoy the small waiting time (cook/time) over a drink. the meals are generous in the size and wondeful rustic fare. the puddings are very popular and it was interesting to note that they have a monthly 'pudding night'. this sells in advance so that a testament itself. the room in which we stayed was immaculate and well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. the breakfast has certainly put us in good position for the rest of our day. cooked again to order a little time for delivery to their table. enjoy a coffee/tea, juice and/or sweet while waiting. the croissants baked in the house served perfection directly from the often and steam (yes, they 're advised, they 'll take about 13 minutes.) a favorable location to explore the opposite, near some good hiking trails or perfect for a overnight stay when they pass through (like our situation.) thanks to all. we hope to return a day.

Went for a meal and cocktails on the steak house start and was brilliant, inexpensive, beautiful eating and friendly staff. it didn't take long to come food though we were in a big group and it was the best steak I ever had

Thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday carvery. Really tasty! We found the atmosphere to be really cosy, and the staff were friendly would recommend.

Staying during taking part in a function, lunch, drinks and natter with the staff in the afternoon was nice, eating excellent staff very courteous, fantastic room (eden suite) perfect place for a function again the staff were wonderful, nothing too much annoying, breakfast cooked fresh enough, will be definitiw back

Thanks to all at stoneybeck for a great meal. the eating was top notch and the waiting staff was nice and looked after us really well. we had a fantastic night - almost the place dry by mango vodka apparently drink
