The Pheasant Inn - Cumwhitton

At a live music event in this jewel of a village pub over the bank holiday weekend. Absolutely brilliant evening very good host in a really intelligent upper floor room. Friendly and friendly landlord and staff. Did not eat, but the menu looks really interesting and a step up from the usual pub offer. I'll go back to try.

The bride here the surprise post wedding party. We had the vegetarian options (each other one at the table had meat or fish and polished the plates clean), I was skeptical in the first place of the Beetroot ravioli on the menu, was Italian itself and had many disappointing pasta dishes in pubs before. That was great. Made from scratches and cooked to perfection! The cauliflower steak and the vegetables that came with him were also so beautiful! The dessert (sticky toffee pudding and chocolate brownie) were also top quality. Peter and the staff were so courteous and even made our daughter part of the apple kick outside the menu option! Really first class food! Dog friendly and people friendly. Ignore Google maps opening times which the hosts have been unable to update. They ARE open on Sundays, from 1600 as of August 2022. Better info on their Facebook page.

Superb food and hospitality. A relaxed unrshed atmosphere. Drinks were expensive by the glass, we were charged £13 for a glass of Chardonnay. Certainly by no means the cheapest. However, the food was excellent.

The food tastes and looks amazing. The staff is super friendly. And both inside and outside looks beautiful. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
