The Plus - Eau Claire

I always have a pleasant time at this restaurant. While I may not always agree with their wine selection, Samara is always very welcoming and accommodating.

Over the last two weeks I've eaten at the Informalist twice to gauge the consistency of their food and service.

We stopped here for lunch on our way through townIntrigued by the burgers we both ordered different ones.

I always enjoy the rotating menu at the InformalistOur favorite spot to sit is at the penny bar.

Crab dip was subpar but steamed shrimp was awesome. Server never cleared the table before bringing out more food. Then the runner looked confused when I asked her to remove the dirty plates first. My husband noticed the building was under negative air pressure caused from Kitchen hood exhaust (kitchen saloon doors sucked in) causing hot humid exterior air to rush into the restaurant when the exterior doors would open. Sit away from doors if you want A/C. Outdoor seating looked nice and led to long pier on the water.
