4 Mile Restaurant Bar - Eau Claire

Delicious food that can get a bit busy at times, but they always deliver! The staff is very polite as well!

The restaurant has a charming traditional supper club vibe. It was bustling on a Friday Fish Fry night, but the wait was definitely worth it! There are excellent menu options and a delicious salad bar. Food: 5/5

This is a fantastic country bar. The service was exceptional, and both the fish fry and salad bar were outstanding. While the interior could use a little updating, I would definitely recommend it overall! Food: 5/5

While waiting, we enjoyed drinks at the bar. My husband checked again around 5:30 for an estimated seating time and was told it would still be about 45 minutes. We continued to wait until 6:15 and checked again, only to receive the same information. My husband expressed his frustration, highlighting that we had been waiting since 4:20, and it seemed everyone around us at the bar felt the same frustration. Amazingly, around 15 minutes later, we were finally given a table. Initially, the service seemed prompt – our water was brought out quickly, and our order was taken. By 7:30, however, we had only received water and had managed to visit the salad bar, but our food had yet to arrive. The waitress checked in on us several times during that hour, always assuring us that our food would be out shortly. By 7:30, we had reached our limit; we got up, expressed our dissatisfaction to the hostess, and paid for our salads. She responded with a dismissive, "have a good night," and walked away. We left extremely disappointed, feeling like we wasted our night out since, after more than three hours, we still hadn’t received our meals, only small salads. I understand that a busy restaurant can be challenging, but the customer service was abysmal. Why didn’t anyone check in with the waiting customers and offer an apology? We would have spent more had we had better service, but we were left with just drinks and salads.

The service is outstanding, but I would advise against ordering the wings, as they were all burnt! The rest of the food looks like what is shown in the second picture.
