4 Mile Restaurant Bar - Eau Claire

The meal was decent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Just a heads-up: they don’t accept credit cards, but there is an ATM available on-site.

This restaurant was not what I expected. The bartender and our server were both friendly and knowledgeable. The food was surprisingly good. We started with the tater skins and large cheese curds, which were both tasty. I ordered the California burger, while my son had the cod fish sandwich; both dishes were plentiful and well-prepared. The burger was juicy and cooked perfectly, served on a toasted bun. We were very pleased with our meals. They also have a salad bar available. However, the ambiance could use some improvement. The space is quite dark and has small windows, which gives it a somewhat enclosed feel, similar to being on a boat. The chairs were a bit uncomfortable as well. That said, if you can overlook the surroundings and focus on the food, it’s a great spot. I would definitely return.

The fish fry on Friday night was fantastic! The place was crowded, but it was definitely worth the wait. They also have great drinks!

Busy! Told 1/2 hr wait but was only 15 minutes. Nice bar to wait at! Small salad bar but good. They are continually stocking it. Fish was good! Ordered crispy hash browns. They were barely cooked. Wish they would have been done!

Should have taken a pic of my plate. 3 big cod beer battered. Baked potato, salad bar, fresh soup house made. Excellent soup. Can't complain except I got more than I could eat ????
