The Crown At Abbots Bromley

The menu is very large, so I was a bit concerned about the quality, but I shouldn't have been. We ordered the Duck and Lamb's Liver, and both were cooked perfectly. The beer selection was also excellent.

The meal was fantastic, great value for the price, and the staff were very attentive. The Sunday Lunch was excellent! However, the coffee was too strong, and they offered very little milk, which was disappointing. We plan to return, hopefully they will have a better coffee machine by then!

My partner ordered the belly pork with a mild mustard sauce, while I opted for the lamb. The vegetables were served in separate dishes, which I appreciated, and were cooked perfectly. The lady behind the bar was very friendly and shared some interesting information about Abbots Bromley. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend The Crown as a nice place to visit and explore the surrounding villages.

What fantastic meal and service we had at this restaurant, the chef is obviously very experienced and highly qualified everything was cooked to perfection and obviously very fresh. The price is very competitive for a pub/restaurant of this quality. I thought the choice wasn’t over powering but there was plenty of choice for all tastes. One last comment for the excellent service the young lad who served us he was polite, prompt and nothing was to much trouble. Will definitely recommend this place and the service we had

Excellent food. Due to a misunderstanding we did not have a booking. The manager fitted us in a bit later and the food was very good, hot and freshly cooked. Clearly a popular place and well patronised. I would definitely recommend . A large car park at the back but it was very full and looked like it was being used as a space for car sales which was a bit disconcerting. I didnt want to come out and found my vehicle sold!
