Unbelievably poor customer service. Beggars belief. Sat waiting behind a car for 6 minutes. Car behind was beeping. Got to order point and no response. I actually thought the place must be shut. THEN AND YOU CAN'T WRITE IT. The girl on order desk started having a go at me for not waiting. Attitude stunk. Instead of just taking order she started having a go at me as if it was my fault. How can McDonalds have people like this in customer facing role. Avoid Branston McDonalds.
The service at this restaurant was terrible, as was the overall experience. I visited for a quick meal between visiting family and going to work. Despite the drive-through queue appearing short initially, I ended up waiting for close to 10 minutes without moving. The order taking between lanes was mismatched, resulting in some cars being able to skip ahead. Traffic management issues led to a near collision with an impatient BMW driver. It took 10-15 minutes to pay and reach the second window, where I was asked to park because my food wasn't ready, despite others not being asked to do so. When I questioned the delay and asked for an estimate, the staff called the manager over and ordered me to park without engaging in a conversation. I waited for my order, only to find out I was missing one of the cheeseburgers I had ordered. With limited time to eat before work, I couldn't go back to complain. Overall, it was a horrible experience, and I felt scammed out of the money for the missing burger. I will be avoiding this restaurant in the future and trying other fast food options instead.
It’s the last time I come here. Last 3 times it’s taken 10-15 mins to get my food after 9:30pm. Last time I came I ordered at the drive through. Waited 5 minutes at the window then was told to park in a bay. So parked in a bay and after 15 minutes in the bay decided to go inside. Looks like they forgot me because food still was nowhere to be seen.
Two lanes for ordering but the counter staff only seem to be taking orders from one, like is a game they play to keep themselves entertained and distracted from the fact they work in McDonald’s. It shouldn’t be this hard to order a coffee, it’s not even busy. I could have written this as the third car on the right lane is served while I wait for acknowledgement that I’m here instead of wondering if the camera is broken or I missed a lane closed sign (I didn’t) I gave up as the fourth car pulled in and the order boy confirmed I didn’t have an invisible car and I could have a coffee Burton on Trent McDonald’s is legendary for getting your order wrong but they’re usually quick to take the money so imagine my surprise
