There were no bag checks which was a bit weird. Parking will be $30.00 in the future, and I would not go here when there's a game at the stadium because traffic would be a nightmare. We got there at 12pm, and the place opens at 10am it was packed, the wait in lines was approx 30-45 minutes take that into consideration when visiting with small children. The staff was very friendly, but seemed inexperienced and took forever to get people in and out of the rides which contributed to the wait. The bathrooms were clean, the place itself super clean, and the children enjoyed the characters, and the Paw patrol adventure Bay area. They also had a live slime show which was interesting. We will return on a weekday, at 10am so my children can enjoy the place without the mayhem.
This place can either be so much fun and thrilling, or tiring and boring depending on when you come. I recommend to be super early to try to get on all the rides or popular ones (and even get on by yourself! If you come late, you can spend HOURS in line. Besides being late or early, the theme park is very nice and fun! They have rides for ages, but most of them require you to be a certain hight, so most of the rides are 8+ I would say. Would recommend!
Let’s start with the positives. Brightly lit, clean, plenty of seating areas, kiddy play area, mosquito free and air conditioned. The character meet and greets are great for the little ones. It’s lovely seeing the joy in their face when they believe they’ve met the characters for real. There are rides for all ages. There are no really long lines other than the slow train ride and the coaster that goes around the whole park. Those are super long waits, over 45 mins. The Dora train is not worth the wait. All other rides are pretty quick to get on and this truly is the best thing happening at the park. You can get on multiple times. You can walk the entire park in 30 mins or less. So it’s now large at all despite the attraction being the largest indoor park it’s no competition for any of the outdoor parks in comparison with size. The nostalgia is great. The rides are cool. The opportunity to be slimed is cool as well however the slime doesn’t seem to be what I remember wanting to be doused with as a kid watching on TV. Looks like green colored water. It’s getting a 3 star from me because I was highly annoyed at the price point for what is being offered. For $80 per person on peak pricing which is for every weekend and any holidays it’s not worth it. At least 5 of the rides were not operable either because of maintenance or going down while wile waiting online for it. Even more annoying is using the Groupon platform to sell tickets but not actually discounted. Making it appear as if there’s a discount but there isn’t any. $80 per person for all access to all rides is just not worth it. I rather pay that price and go to 6flags. The price for their water park is bonkers at $119 per person on weekends and that’s separate from the park with the rides. If you were trying to do both in one day it’s absolutely doable. However is it cost effective? Absolutely not. The price points for entry are not consumer friendly. For this reason alone we won’t bother coming back. Not even to try the indoor water park. For $100 more I can get a night at Kalahari or Great Wolf off of Groupon which would include an overnight stay and 6 wristbands for 2 days of splash time. $39 to $49 seems like a fair amount for entry on a weekend in my opinion.
We celebrated my daughter's 5th birthday at Nickelodeon Theme Park in American Dream, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The park provided a day filled with joy and laughter. Our visit began with a trip to the water park on a Friday, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was not crowded at all. With hardly anyone there, we practically had the water park to ourselves, allowing my daughter to freely explore and enjoy the attractions. It was the perfect way to kick off her birthday celebrations. The following day, we ventured into the amusement park, and although there were some wait times for the rides, none of them exceeded 15 minutes. Considering it was a Saturday, we were relieved that the lines were manageable and didn't detract from our overall enjoyment. The variety of rides catered well to my daughter's age group, ensuring she had a fantastic time. One highlight of our visit was the overhead train that traversed the entire park. While it did have a longer wait compared to other rides, the experience was well worth it.The park itself was clean, well-maintained, and staffed by friendly and helpful employees. The attention to detail in the Nickelodeon-themed decorations and the overall ambiance created an immersive and inviting atmosphere. Our visit to Nickelodeon Theme Park was a great success. It is on the pricey side, but it provided a memorable way to celebrate my daughter's birthday and left us with wonderful memories. The combination of a nearly empty water park and manageable ride wait times at the amusement park made for an enjoyable experience.
Best to visit with young kids...or older! Great place for entire family. Clean, AC running, not the usual heated sun making you tired...none of that! Best amusement park in the heated summer. Not too big or small. Can take all the rides within 3 hours. 1 star taken of off for rides that needed constant upkeep ....not all rides are available at any given time. Its annoying. Tickets doubled on weekends....too pricey. Short wait times.
