My wife and I opted for the Tin Lizard as an option with river views. The views from the booths in the restaurant are nice. The food was really good! I enjoyed my fish and chips a lot and my wife had grilled cheese and tomato soup and loved it! My one complaint--and it has almost nothing to do with the restaurant--is that a lady at the bar chose to conduct a full-volume FaceTime for like 15 minutes.

Arrived 3 minutes early, door was open and walked in due to another person walking in before us. Waiter was going to seat us, possibly manager came out and said we had to leave and go back out the door due to them not being open. Mind you it was 1057 and their door should have been locked. She was rude and our first time ever going here. Definitely will not go back if this is how you treat your customers.

Visited this restaurant on a Monday around Noon for their Monday/Tuesday 11 am to 2 pm special of BOGOF. My husband had the fish and chips with a small amount of coleslaw, and I had the bowl of penne pasta with meatballs. We both had water to drink. The bill was a total of $16. I had to ask for a to go box to take half of my meal home. We enjoyed the scenery on the river and the quiet atmosphere inside the restaurant. I doubt we would go back and pay full price for the meal we had, but we are anxious to return to try something else on the menu during the BOGO offer.

The service tends to be really slow. Sat at the bar waited at least 5 minutes before being greeted. It was the third this happened as a visitor. Glad the steakhouse opened gives visitors another option. Tin Lizard has nice views set up but I won’t be dining their for a long time. It’s such a let down.
