Red Pepper East - East Grand Forks

I am extremely disappointed. Despite moving away from EGF, we returned to visit family in the area. I really wanted to go to EGF Red Pepper because their buns make the grinders so much better. I checked their hours online to ensure they were open on Mondays, tried calling twice but received no answer. Their Facebook page indicated they had a Zep Special on Mondays, so I assumed they were just busy. However, to my dismay, they were closed with no posted business hours on the door or updates on Facebook. It was a regular Monday on 9/18/23 at 2pm and they were not open. Since we no longer live in the area and I was really craving a grinder, we had to backtrack to the original location. I used to enjoy Red Pepper East, but I think in the future I will just go to the Original Red Pepper on University. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Please don't change the hugos bread as it really enhances the flavor of the sandwich.

I absolutely love Red Pepper! The new management is fantastic and friendly. However, I have a major concern about the employees not wearing gloves while handling food. It's quite off-putting and was also an issue with the previous management. I've noticed different employees doing this, and it bothers me to see them handling cheese and lettuce after touching pens and money. I would give a higher rating if this practice were addressed.

The tacos are fantastic, the best Grinder around, the staff is friendly, and it's still a genuine small business! Be sure to give them a try!

The food at this restaurant is average and reasonably priced. I heard about this place from others, and it was decent, but it felt like the buzz surrounding it was better than the actual food.
