Shine Sushi Restaurant - Eagle River

The fish tank got my eye! We sat near the front. They seemed busy because I didn't get my drink or a plate for my appetizer. They tried to check us out, they apologized and were nice about it. I liked her sushi and roasted rice.

The ambience inside, and decor and asian-themes, are very welcoming/destructive. Great fish tank, too. Available menus. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Admittedly, our meal was late because they were low on both the chicken and Tilapia (fish) and both had to soak up for our meals. It happens, but the culinary team that prepares for it... Otherwise good food and service.

I need to change my review. I have written to enjoy the amount of veggies in her pho. Have several times here before and during it is pricy, it is the way things are now. This time I decided to order a sushi roll last night, this is a huge splurge for me, but it sounded good. I have at home to see how small a part is a $18 roll. I expect Sushi to be expensive, but I also expect a full role from him. I confirmed that 5 pieces here was a “normal role” and yes it is. I'm speechless that they would charge so much for so little food. Somewhere else I have ever gone, a role has more disks (of the same or larger size). It wasn't the best sushi of my life far from it. Unfortunately, the sesame chicken was also a disappointment, tasteless and very watery. Then I can't recommend the place anymore. I'm very disappointed.

Nice dining room. Friendly servers. Delicious sushi rolls. Chicken Katsu Curry is great. My only reason for 4 stars is the Yakisoba and Gyoza were both oily... but I guess this is usually quite common among most Asian Cuisin places. All in all, this is a great place here in Eagle River!

Sushi was great, but the server was SO unwelcoming! We usually always have great experiences with waitresses wherever we go, but this one acted like the sight of us made her sick. She did not come back to our table once and the entire time she was giving us bad looks. It confused me because we have never had this type of service anywhere! The reviews say that they have friendly staff, so maybe the server had a VERY VERY bad day that day. The rest of the staff was friendly. We are going back soon and I will update if we have better service.
