Blue Wren Cafe - DWELLINGUP

We were looking forward to going here as reviews were pretty good but so disappointed. The sausage roll was burnt on the ends otherwise would have been Ok. The pepper steak pipe has good flavour but was so dry, maybe yesterdays?, the chips were cold. The bacon wasn’t cooked properly. I ordered extra hot coffee and what came out was tepid I asked if it could be either heated up or remade come back slightly warmer. The cafe itself was freezing. They had 2 wood fires but weren’t on and it was a very cold day. Next time I visit Dwellingup I wouldn’t go back I would try somewhere else

Dwellingup Blue Wren Cafe catered for three days at a work retreat I attended. The food was delicious, lasagne, roast with the trimmings, carrot cake and more. Vegetarians and gluten free people catered for no problem. Breakfast was typical cereals, eggs, bacon, baked beans and a lovely and fresh fruit salad with yoghurt. I cannot thank them enough for looking after us. There was so much to consume.

A great place for lunch after a morning of walking the stunning forest trails. Lovely atmosphere. I had the veggie burger on gluten-free bread and my husband the haloumi burger. Terrific! Note: Café closes mid-afternoon. Don’t miss out!

Breakfast here was delivered quickly. Was hot and fresh and a large serving. My favourite stop when visiting Dwellingup.

Very pleasant teenager served me. Best pie I’ve had in a long time, fresh out of the oven with large chunks of tender beef. Delicious brownie. All baked on the premises.
